There are 3 full color plates. Two of them have these neat sheer paper overlays that identify the plants shown (photo 8). There are a lot of other black and white illustrations, ranging from small to full size page. This book is 3.5 lbs of plant goodness!
This is an ex-library book and has the inserts, stamps, etc. to show it. Inside back cover has several library additions (not shown). Outside, the cover has wear, especially to the spine and corners. Library labels have been removed but left a residue and library stamp on bottom has been marked out.
There is some separating of the text block from the spine at the front and back covers. We don't see any obvious missing pages. Pages inside are clean and in good condition with only a couple of small tears here and there and maybe a few stray pencil marks.
