Pre-1920s shoe buttons from Muscatine, IA. Made from pretty brown
mussel shell, with a metal loop. Tops are about 3/8th inch wide.

3635. Czech Buttons.
Small vintage glass buttons made in Czechoslovakia. The holes run
across the back and they are about 3/8th inch wide. They are crackled
glass with specks of color here and there, although some have lost
their colored flecks.
